4 days 3 nights shopping heaven bangkok

Midvalley : shopping food!! maggie mee kari, asam laksa, roti gardenia, roti sambal bilis, kacang cap tangan, chocolate, sardines, tuna spread, and other junk food I cannot remember now. Borong sakan especially maggie mee sebab nak bawak jumpa Dimas. Had dinner at..... I can't remember where now(getting old!). In between sempat pergi bank and withdraw duit for Sarah nak tukar Baht. Balik rumah tengok tv jap, then punggah cari bag, kemas apa patut, tak leh tido....... either too excited nak pegi bangkok, or was too upset with the news I got to know that day, tak ingat lelap pukul berapa.

Thursday 11/01/07
AM : As early as 550am, my hp berbunyi, punya ramai tukang kejut! Tau la I ni liat bangun pagi, hehe. By 7am semua dah ready, babah called my hp again at 640am to remind me to switch off apa patut kat rumah tu. Turun bawah, driver dah sampai, terus pergi rumah Iza & Sarah, ambik diorang plak, heading for LCCT. After check-in, we had breakfast. I had bihun goreng as I was expected to eat nasi lemak atas plane. Tapi frustrated gila sebab it was Thai Airasia aircraft - no nasi lemak!!! I slept during the 2 hours flight journey.

PM : The new airport okay la, ramai orang. I think our KLIA is much better. Not enough lights in airport, kelam satu macam. It took us 40min to reach hotel. Everyone was hungry, so we ate the bilis bun I had in my bag. Hotel was nice : SOMMERSET LAKE PARK. It is situated at Sukhumvit area, Soy 16. (dalam malay : lorong 16). A service appartment under The Ascott Group. We had a 3 bedroom apartment. After settle down, kitorang terus keluar. First destination : MAKAN!!! Thanks to Iza who had printed list of halal place to eat, we tried USMAN near our place. Sedap & Murah! And they speak malay! They had the best "sotong goreng garlic". Yang unik nya tempat ni, on the walls are full with namecards of those who had ate at the place.

Lepas makan the shop owner helped us cari kedai buat suit. The guys, fathil & ray yang selalu perasan handsome & macho nak tempah suit. Kat situ je dah lebih sejam. But they had a good deal, dari nak beli satu ended up bertambah-tambah 2 orang tu. Kedai kat Bangkok ni bagus, dia fetch you, and send you back. Tak yah bayar cab fee. Tapi we tipped the driver la.

Next point : MBK plaza. MBK stands for Mah Boon Krong, one of the oldest shopping mall in Bangkok city. It has everything there, and I do mean everything. Gadgets pun ada. But my favourite of course the fake designer items! hehehehe. First item bought? Todts handbag! Ended up buying 4 handbags in MBK and some other stuff too. Met Dimas here in MBK, Sarah's sister & hubby(who is an original Thai) joined us too. We had dinner in MBK itself. Ada jual halal food kat food court. RM3.50 for nasi kaler kuning and ayam goreng. Dimas followed us back to the hotel and was very happy with the food i brought for him. I had brought along fruit cakes, yummy cookies yang mama buat.

Friday 12/11/07
AM : Iza jadi tukang kejut semua orang kat Bangkok. Hehehe. We had breakfast kat hotel, then first agenda was Platinum Fashion Mall. Ini lagi gila shopping! First thing nampak : KASUT!!! I bought 3 pairs kat sini. And cheap too. One of them cost RM34.90, last week tengok kat KLCC RM89.90...... how? Well, how cheap are things hmm.... I bought a hand lugage that cost RM70 and masuk kan semua barang I beli dalam bag tu, sorong satu mall 7 tingkat tu turun naik, ended up ada lagi extra plastic bags I kena pegang sebab dah tak muat.

PM : Lepas seharian kat Platinum balik hotel rest kejap, we went back to city for dinner. We went to this one Arab restaurant, tapi ada jual teh tarik la. Hehehe. The food was good. I had seafood fried rice. We continued our journey to Suan Lum Night Market. This is Bangkok's newest night market, dekat Lumpini park. Easy access by taxi and subway. Suan Lum has many of the same Thai trinkets and souvenirs you'll find in other of Bangkok's markets, but here under covered walkways and with a few bars, restaurants and a huge covered food court with live bands nightly. Well worth a wander. They had the big ferry wheel here. Tapi kitorang tak naik la. I banyak jugak habiskan duit kat sini. Of course tambah handbag lagi! Hehehe.

Saturday 13/01/07
AM : After breakfast we went to Thai Square tempat the guys tempah suit. While waiting for them trying & fitting, Dimas & myself went elsewhere to get some gadgets for F(I think nanti if I ever marry you wahai mamat doink, can I just buy the gadgets from bangkok for hantaran thingy? very cheap, and of course you will love them right? heheheh.... jgn marah, nanti kena jual!!!). Went back to Thai Square, diorang tak siap2 lagi, and discovered Sarah pun tempah one suit for herself!!. We then proceed to Chatuchak Weekend Market. Jauh gak nak pergi tempat ni. If you have been to Padang Besar or Danok, just imagine 7 kali ganda besarnya tempat tu! Memang shopping heaven. I sampai tak larat nak jalan, kaki teramat penat!!! Bought lots of things here too, paling puas hati beli cushion cover. And borong selipar.

PM : By this time, I memang dah flat! Letih yang amat. Thought of going back to Suan Lum, tapi tak larat. We had dinner in hotel, USMAN restaurant delivered food to our hotel. I pening kepala macam mana nak packing. Tapi semua nya masuk!

Sunday 14/01/07
AM : Pagi relax tak buat apa. Ingat nak pergi massage, tapi malas la pulak. My other friends sempat keluar lagi cari barang. I stayed- in, pening kepala sebab nose bleed. Dimas datang later bawak food. Dia & Iza masak, we also reheat the leftovers, makan and siap-siap nak pergi airport.

PM : Checked in at 330pm, airasia bagi 15kg saja, I had 19kg, Iza&Ray had 29kg, Sarah&Fathil had 33kg, Tapi diorang tak charge kitorang pun. Flight delayed 30minutes, by the time sampai KL dah 9pm. Teramat letih. Adik&Ema ambik kat airport.

I had really enjoyed myself. Was really concerntrating on shopping and office tak kacau. Very aman as I dah settle kan BSP siap-siap. And I had my good friends along. We are looking forward to go back again, very soon!!! Now...... I am broke!

UPDATE APA YANG PATUT

Balik cuti pun tak sempat nak lega sikit, kerja berlambak waiting nak kena settle! Pening! Takpe la, janji dah puas hati cuti, so now kena kerja kuat, cari duit lagi, then pegi cuti lagi. Nak story pasal cuti? Nanti la I bagi full itinerary. Dimas punya seronok I datang bawak food untuk dia. Nak baca, pegi la link ikan melayu kat sebelah tu.

Pejam celik, 2006 dah habis, dah masuk 2007, sikit hari lagi pejam celik, terus 2008. Makin tua la macam ni. This year new year macam biasa, busy with Aidiladha the day before new year. Mama & babah turun lagi. 2 weeks berturut diorang datang KL. Christmas weekend they joined ayahnurin & family kat PD. Ayong ada apartment kat PD Tiara, so bercuti sakan lah mereka. And since ayong baik hati sewa 2 apartment, kakteh, adik&emma (ish, mcm trademark pulak! hehehehe) and busu family pun ikut jugak. Riuh la kanak2 tu enjoyed themselves. Well, that was what I got the impression. I tak pergi. Nak pergi, tapi banyak kerja, so I was at the office trying to finish my work. I lepak KL tak pergi mana pun, except keluar try out new place tempat makan kat MRR2 (later cerita pasal tempat ni). Hariz&Nurin ikut cerita ibunya tak nampak bayang pun sebab seronok join anak-anak busu.

Come raya haji, the day before that opah panicked sebab takde orang nak prepare food for raya. Actually opah freaked out aunty yot takde sini. Aunty yot & uncle wahid pergi Mekah tunaikan fardu Haji. Aunty yot memang manjakan opah when it comes raya. Dia yang in-charge semua pasal food. Aunty-aunty lain & my mother pun buat jugak, tapi at their own pace, and rather cook at their own home and bring to opah's house. Since opah tak nampak benda depan mata dia tak senang duduk la. And she was sicked for about 10 days prior raya haji, tambah tengah depressed, memang la her condition bertambah teruk. Abang epi dah nak masukkan opah dalam hospital dah on new year. But come malam raya, my mom sampai bawak rendang ayam dari SP, maklong hantar rendang daging, aunty namah datang prepare nak masak soto, aunty Da siapkan sambal sotong & rendang paru, pagi raya aunty chomel bawak lontong, semua cucu-cicit, menantu & anak-anak datang ziarah, and other sedara mara pun datang, terus ceria orang tua tu. Terus tak jadi masuk wad. And malam tadi I managed to called aunty yot (diorang dah safely in KL), apparently tak leh balik rumah dia dulu, kena stay umah opah dulu. My opah tu dah tua, over 80 years dah, bongkok 3 lagi, tapi kerja still tip-top.

Raya was fine. Half-half rumah opah & rumah nenek, and pegi rumah maklong. Malam new year my parents tengok wayang with Hariz&Nurin, along with their parents, kakteh, aunty Da, & Chik. Myself lepak elsewhere.

New year tak pergi mana. Lepak KL. Plan macam-macam nak buat, but managed to do half saja due to unforseen circumstances. Paling best pergi putrajaya on 2nd day, checked out Nelly punya cafe, and tengok Night at the museum. (p/s : elo prince charming - don't forget the other half punya due!!!). Mama balik on 2nd Jan. Kepenatan. Penat layan kerenah cucu, and kerenah opah. I sempat had a long chat with Babah at ayong's house. Siap kena sound lagi. But as usual, babah guna diplomasi cara dia la, so buat kita lagi la terasa. Besides topik kawin, kena sound pasal my relationship with my sister, and other few other things that he was not satisfied with. Aiyak......... berpeluh gak defend kan diri. Mama nagging I boleh tutup telinga, but when it comes to babah, he knows me very well that I cannot pusing apa-apa cerita pun. Paling kuat pun I just did my angguk bodoh ja and absorbed whatever he said.

Work??? huh, I leave it to other day to nag about that. So far kena tahan saja la. Aisey, dah 8pm, am so the very late. Nak pegi MV kejap. Nak jumpa pc. Baru seminggu tak tengok muka, but felt like ages. Before I angau tak pasal. Balik dari bangkok, 2 hari balik office punya awal - cover penat! hehehehe. Okay, nanti I will update cerita bangkok pulak.

NAK PEGI CUTI

Yeay, besok pagi am off to Bangkok for 4 days with my friends!

Main thing to do there? SHOPPING!!!! And enjoy myself before kerja kuat lagi tahun ni.

Will be meeting Dimas kat bangkok nanti.

Boss dah bagi extra money for my trip besides the bonus yang dah dapat, ni yang buat susah nak berhenti ni, hehehehehe.

I have been very busy with work for the pass 3 weeks. Was spending the weekend in office too. Banyak pulak problem arise naik new year ni. Nanti balik cuti I will update (all, xmas, raya haji, new year, work, gossip, semua la!). Korang ni tak baca blog aku takde entertainment la tu!. Nanti bila dah balik, dah reda semua kerja, I will update ok. Ni pun baru habis meeting with boss, discuss pasal planning for the year, income projection, bla.. bla... bla... Ada ke both my MD & Chairman dah set wedding date siap-siap untuk myself? Definately not March or September. Must be during the low season. Hmm......

Okay la, topic tu, later okay. Now nak balik, jumpa darling for dinner, need to get some barang for Dimas, then balik pack & kemas rumah before I go. Rumah is so untidy!!!!!
